A busy Saturday.

Finally I am able to help with something at the house. Hubby and I shovelled 6yards of sand into the garage floor...after screeding it(running a long 2x4 with a level on it) we had to dig out the pile in the photo! There must have been a bulge in the original garage floor or the sand delivering company sold us too much!
We rented a compacter and Hubby chased it around. Next thing is to have the plumber finish some work in the corner where the hot water tank is going then we can call the concrete finisher to come and put concrete on top of the sand. We are looking into whether we will need wire mesh or will the new fibre concrete will be strong enough for a garage floor
